Several months ago in this forum, I wrote about the importance of creating the best wire connections possible to minimize lighting issues that arise when inadequate and improper wire connections are made in the field. 
One product that BISCO sells to insure secure and solid wire connections is LIGHTING SHRINK.  The Lighting Shrink method utilizes a tin coated copper barrel connector and a UL approved premium grade gasket lined protective sheath.

However, in my opinion the real secret to this great connection system is the LS CRIMPING TOOL. The LS Crimping Tool is both non-reversing and ratcheting, so it insures that the barrel connector is firmly and permanently attached to the stranded low voltage wire!

The LS Crimping Tool can be used with almost any metal barrel connector and has a net price of $29.95, a small investment for “piece of mind” wire connections.

The QZ is the smallest up light now offered in the FX LED line.  Very similar in size to a MR11 up light.

It only has a 1LED (10 watt halogen equivalent) option, but it is capable of all the same features and optics of the larger LED up lights like the NP and FB in a smaller package.  The QZ is available in 9 powder coat finishes and has a list price of $109.00.

The QZ is also capable of Zoning and Dimming on a Luxor ZD system with the addition of the ZD option.

CAST Lighting has recently introduced a new low-cost, low-voltage security lighting system comprised of rugged LED luminaires and a reliable power supply.
